There are several organizations
which encourage people to make informed decisions about their
own personal fertility and which provide education and other
support to help individuals act upon their decisions. Some
of these organizations appear to be more interested in raising
funds than in addressing the possibility of stabilizing human
population in the world and in the U.S.
Here are names of some of the organizations we believe are
effective both in raising funds and in utilizing funds raised
to bring family planning choices to people in the U.S. and
in the world--choices we believe can ultimately result in population
stabilization in the U.S. and in the world. To learn more about

Planned Parenthood Federation of America:
Works to ensure each individual has
the fundamental right to decide when and whether to have a child.
Population Media Center: Works to improve the health
and well-being of people around the world through the use of entertainment-education
strategies.
Population Connection (formerly
Zero Population Growth): Works to educate young people and to
advocate progressive action to stabilize world population at
a level that can be sustained by the earth's resources. |
