"DASA is a non-profit organization dedicated
to educating the media,
politicians, policy makers, and residents across the U.S.
about the impact of
population growth which is driven mainly by record levels
of legal and illegal
immigration, plus U.S.-born children of immigrants.
"DASA advocates replacement-level fertility
(two children per family) and
replacement-level immigration (reducing the current number
from over one million
to around 200,000 annually) so that America can achieve population
stability
in the long run.
"DASA's leaders and
supporters are racially, ethnically and politically
diverse. Its Executive Director is an immigrant with extensive
prior experience
helping people immigrate to the U.S."
In our view, the diversity of DASA's
leaders and supporters permits entree
into counsels and channels which might be closed to other
groups with less
obvious diversity. DASA's tenacious and
tireless Executive Director appears
frequently on regional radio and TV programs and her letters
and "op ed"
pieces
appear in newspapers throughout the U.S.
DASA has not been evaluated by the BBB Wise Giving Alliance.
