"The Journal's editorial writers, despite their many strengths, suffer from
the malady of all utopian ideologues: an unwillingness to acknowledge facts
that are inconsistent with infallible theory." Mark Krikorian, Center for Immigration Studies, Jan. 28, 2004

"We are sitting on a cultural time-bomb whose magnitude will make the new
Mother of All Bombs look like a sparkler.
"Forty years of legal immigration at 1 to 1.5 million a year. Forty years of
illegal immigration at 800,000 a year. Forty years of taxing ourselves to
create safety nets for each newly discovered area of need. Forty years of
sublimating our own culture (which is so bad that it created a nation that
everyone
wants to come to) and elevating every other newly imported culture with no
differentiation between Stone Age and Jet Age.
"And forty years of being told that we are hateful xenophobes for not wanting
Bangladesh re-created on Main Street USA.
"We can't save every over-populated, poverty-stricken nation in the world by
letting in unlimited immigrants and refugees. But we can destroy our own
nation by unrestrained immigration policy.
"Democracy's delicate balance requires an educated populace with a similar
moral/ethical foundation with the same language spoken by all citizens. We are
losing these factors in America."
